My Journey

ABOUT ME

Forget 30-60-90, I’m a 3-6-9 person. I’m an extremely fast learner. I leverage my experience in companies of all sizes and industries, as well as my background leading product and design teams to hit the ground running. Give me 3 days to get up to speed on everything the company does, 6 days to familiarize myself with my colleagues, their teams, and company priorities, and in 9 days I’ll be adding value to the product.

CLIFTON STRENGTHS

WHAT ARE CLIFTON STRENGTHS?

CliftonStrengths is a Gallup assessment that identifies your top talents so you can focus on what you do best. It’s designed to maximize performance by building on natural strengths instead of fixing weaknesses.

My top 5 clifton strengths

I see patterns and possibilities others might miss, and I enjoy planning and executing initiatives to bring those visions to life.

Futuristic

I take a vision-driven approach, always looking ahead to pioneer new experiences and services, connecting the today to the future.

Maximizer

I focus on excellence, elevating both the quality of the work and the performance of the people I work with. I thrive on optimizing user experiences, increasing activation, and helping teammates grow by building on their strengths.

Input

I’m eager to learn and quickly adapt to new roles and industries, absorbing and applying information with speed.

Ideation

I generate creative, innovative ideas and love building design systems or programs that boost efficiency.

LEADERSHIP

Leadership is about empowering others and driving collaboration. Whether it’s guiding a team toward innovative solutions, building a startup from the ground up, or mentoring the next generation of designers and product managers, I believe strong leadership is key to making great things happen.

IT TAKES A TEAM

It’s more fun to do it together

I enjoy facilitating design activities because they bring teams together, spark creativity, and lead to innovative solutions. It's rewarding to guide collaborative sessions that transform ideas into tangible results. A huge thank you to all the amazing designers, product managers, and engineers I’ve worked with.

Entrepreneurship

Out of college I founded a company dedicated to providing small and medium-sized businesses with powerful customer-facing tools and an immersive mobile presence at a fraction of the cost of developing standalone applications. Accepted into both Texas Venture Labs and MassChallenge.

Mentoring

I love mentoring new designers and product managers. I've been the lead instructor at Startup Institute, a professor at Mount Ida, an advisor for Dat Ventures, and have given guest lectures at LaunchX and Launch Academy. Guiding the next generation of talent is incredibly rewarding for me.

KIND

WORDS

I had the pleasure of working with Chris for over a year at Mercury. He joined us as the Director of UI/UX and quickly distinguished himself as both a talented designer and a sharp product thinker. His ability to combine these skills set him apart. Chris has a strong product mindset and always prioritizes client needs. A few months after his arrival, we promoted him to Director of Product and Design, entrusting him with the product vision and roadmap in addition to design responsibilities. In this role, he effectively managed both product managers and designers, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
